Julia Ideson Library Bridal Portraits | Erin

Houston Wedding Photographer:  The Houston Public Library has never looked so good!!  The amazing Julia Ideson Building, newly renovated and fantastically beautiful, is not your typical location for a bridal session but was impressive to say the least.  Vintage ceiling tiles, antique banisters, grand oak trees and fifteen foot wrought iron gates…oh, where to start!

Erin showed up in her gorgeous gown and standing 5′ 10″, she was a stunning sight.  Her cathedral length veil was gorgeous and made an amazing accent to her dress and figure.  Photographed a couple hours before sunset, we had some glorious light peeking through the windows of the old window panes.

An old building nestled amongst the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston.  Such a statement location!

The Julia Ideson Building was built in 1926 and the much of the original architecture remains in place.

A little bit about Mrs. Bedford…  Her many many years of ballet and dancing came in very handy for this shoot!  She is naturally graceful and has such a warm and loving aura about her!

The inside of the library in the reading room was very vintage, old fashioned and perfect for this book lover…

Congratulations to the new Mrs. Bedford!  This session was so much fun and I’m so happy that we can post it now that you’re married! Can’t wait to post your wedding photos next!!
