Carnival Engagement, Houston Wedding Photography | Kaitlyn & Broc
Houston Wedding Photographer: This Houston Rodeo Carnival Engagement session is by far, one of my favorites to date! Kaitlyn and Broc are one of those couples that oozes with tenderness, affection and passion making my job as a wedding photographer, SO EASY! We, photographers, always have a “bucket list” of sorts for session ideas and when Kaitlyn polled her Facebook friends on good engagement photo places, so of course I took this opportunity to jump up and down and wave my list of, if I do say so myself, FANTASTIC ideas in her face! What are the odds that on my little sheet of paper, I had “carnival/boardwalk” written down, the Houston Rodeo carnival was in town, AND Broc had bought Jason Aldean tickets for Kaitlyn on the night that their engagement session was scheduled! The planets had aligned and we got some extremely memorable and unique photos for these two love birds to cherish for a long, long time!
One of the biggest questions I get from brides before an engagement session is, “What do I wear?!” If you’re looking for tips on coordinating you and your partners attire, Motley Mélange has gone over the basics of choosing and coordinating clothing options for phenomenal photos! Kaitlyn and Broc did a superb job planning for their session, even if they did have make their costume change in a port-a-potty (eek!). I must commend Kaitlyn on her ability to look drop dead beautiful while wearing shorts in the winter time! What you guys can’t see is me behind the camera, wearing jeans, 2 layers of shirts and a jacket and I was STILL cold! Way to suck up the pain and brave the weather, Kaitlyn! It was totally worth it, if you ask me!!
