It has definitely been a while since I’ve updated the blog!  It’s been an ongoing project for me.  To catch you up on the last 18 months of my life, we shot quite a few weddings the first half of 2015!  We rounded out the year with a few more Fall events and my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our second kiddo.  (Spoiler alert: it’s a boy and he was born July 6, 2016!)  With our new addition on the way, we decided that we needed more space seeing as I work from home.  Motley Illustrates was growing as I was quickly running out of room in the guest bedroom, soon to be nursery, which meant the clock was ticking until I received my eviction notice and I would be banished to the living room.  So we started [lightly] searching the real estate around town for a bigger home.

Much to our surprise, we found something fairly quickly and made a huge decision to leave our home of 6 years.  It was a quick and stressful move that left us rattled and exhausted for the first half of this summer.  After almost 3 months of painting contractors, our home has finally started to feel like Home.

So NOW, I’m getting back on the blog bandwagon!  Aaaand, in no particular order, we have Rodney and Erika up first. <3
