Montrose Engagement Session, Houston Wedding Photography: Shelly & Michael
Houston Wedding Photographer: This Montrose engagement session had no rules, no plans and no limits and it was such a good idea for an engagement session in Houston! Walkabout sessions are by far, one of my favorites! We simply picked a neighborhood and went with it! It was a really great time for us to get to know each other better, talk about their wedding day plans and walk off the first-photo-shoot nerves! One of the things I loved most about this location was the diverse and mature vegetation. The bungalows in this neighborhood date as far back as 1911 (which would explain the massive size of the oak trees!)
I’m actually super close friends with Michael’s older sister, so I knew these two love birds prior to this session, however this was the first time I’d really had a chance to see them interact with one another. They’re just too beautiful for words! Michael’s surprise rooftop proposal at to Shelly at Blackfinn was extremely beautiful, sentimental and complete with all their families and friends around to watch!
Their wedding was held this past March at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Montrose and I cannot wait to share it with you all!! This was my first Greek Houston wedding and I have to say, I had a blast! Shelly dressed in a drop dead gorgeous custom made gown and paired her bridesmaid in a royal dark purple. They were all showstoppers! But that’s more to come later. For now, get a load this stunning couple!!
