Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Houston Wedding Photographer: Shelly & Michael
Houston Wedding Photographer: Greeks sure know how to party! This Greek Orthodox Cathedral Houston wedding was more gorgeous than we could have imagined! The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral located in Montrose is a magnificent piece of architecture on the inside. Shelly and Michael’s ceremony was absolutely beautiful and full of Greek tradition! From her custom made lace keyhole wedding dress and cathedral length veil to her uniquely designed purple bridesmaid dresses, all the hard work and effort put into this wedding was well worth it. This ceremony ranks in as one of our top 3 favorites for cultural diversity and beauty!
Just when we thought the party couldn’t get any better, the reception lights dimmed, the pink uplighting came on, and the huge group of Greek family and friends started to do what they do best (aside from drinking wine): DANCING! And once they started dancing, there was never an empty space on the floor again for the rest of the night! From traditional Greek songs and dances to Top 40 booty shaking hits, guests of all ages joined in on the fun! Seriously, one of the most fun receptions to date!
All of the perfect details were put together by the bride and groom themselves and their families, including the Rice Krispies grooms cake. Special touches took this traditional Greek wedding to a big fat Greek party! It was such a pleasure to be part of this fantastic event!
