Rockefeller Hall Wedding, Houston Wedding Photographer | Pam & Kyle
This Rockefeller Hall wedding was one of my favorites of 2011! Pam and Kyle had such beautiful personalities and we were surrounded by some of the greatest, most enthusiastic group of family and friends! July always proves to be a super duper hot month, especially here in the great state of Texas so hosting their memorable day at this inner-city venue was a phenomenal decision on the bride and grooms part. And the weather? It couldn’t have been better! (Well, aside from the scorching outdoor temperatures, haha!)
This purple and blue wedding featured a splash of pink in the bouquets and it looked absolutely wonderful! Such a joy to work with Pam, Kyle and all their friends and family.
Before Pam and I ever met, we unknowingly had a TON of mutual friends! Turns out, we went to the same high school in Corpus Christi and were only 3 years apart. Now here we were in Houston, randomly meeting for a cup of Joe at a local Starbucks and talking weddings after Pam found Motley on TheKnot.com! It really is a small world after all.
Sometimes, the most simplest of cake designs is the most elegant and beautiful! I’m loving the silver ribbon!
Thinking about having a First Look? Oh, let me list you the ways that breaking the tradition can help you alleviate tight wedding schedules, nervousness, and smearing makeup before you make that trek down the isle!
I had the opportunity to shoot with the super amazing Sasha for this wedding! Having two photographers is a must because while your primary photographer is capturing and orchestrating your awesome formal photos that you’ll treasure forever, the additional photographer is able to capture the candid laughter and emotion that reminds you of the excitement and love that was pumping through your veins.
“Now who’s ready to PAAARTAAAAYYYYYY?!!!” said the coolest groom ever.
Beautiful. Emotional. Hysterical. Fun. Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs! (Well, they’re 1 year anniversary is coming up in a couple months! Again, let’s pretend I posted this like 10 months ago, haha!)
