Houston Wedding Photographer: An Ashton Gardens wedding is a beautiful one!  We’ve been an Ashton Gardens wedding photographer since 2011 and this Houston wedding venue never disappoints and it proved itself again for Megan and Sam’s end of year bash.  All of the red accents for this wedding were stunning!  Red is such a great holiday wedding color.  Bold, radiant and lightly festive, this December 30th wedding featured a plethora of red and green florals.

One thing I loved about this wedding was the time we got to spend with Megan and Sam during the reception.  While all the guests were busy eating cake and enjoying the dance floor, we took the two newly weds outside and captured some great moments of just the two of them.  Like we tell all of our clients, this time is so important for the bride and groom! These are the photos that are going to grace the cover of your wedding album and the walls of your home.  These are the images that you’re going to really appreciate when you look back on your wedding day.  Your dress, his tux, your happiness and smiles.  It’s so important to allow your photographers time to capture intimate images like these.  Not all wedding day timelines are the same and if you find yourself struggling to carve out 15 minutes for a bride/groom mini-session on the day of your wedding, consider having a day-after session.  Day-after sessions so fantastic!  They allow you and your new husband to spend some quality, newlywed time together in front of the camera with out the hustle and bustle of a structured timeline!
