As a traveling wedding photographer in Costa Rica, I have to say that making Costa Rica a destination in your wedding plans is not something you’re going to regret! Destination weddings are becoming more and more popular but they aren’t for everyone. For Veronica and Joe, spending their wedding day with their very close (and huge!) group of friends and family in Houston was the right path for them. But once the party was over, they flew up, up and away to their little Central American getaway on the Pacific coast. They were greeted by rolling hills of palm trees, lush rain forests, and more beautiful landscapes than one can take in on one trip. They made it a once in a lifetime trip and the best part? They have some absolutely breathtaking images of themselves in this lavish piece of paradise!
“Pictures on my honeyyyymoooon???” YES! When are you going to get an opportunity to take a journey like this again? After the wedding, you’re buying a house, starting new jobs, and before you know it, you’ll start having a family and lets face it, the next 18 years will fly by faster than you can log onto Orbitz to search for another getaway package! For Veronica, Joe and tons of other newlyweds out there, setting aside one evening on their week-long vacation to spend with each other to create priceless, romantic and breathtaking photos that are reminiscent of their destination honeymoon are worth it! I won’t talk much about the magnificent sunset we experienced; I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
